  • What can I expect on my first visit?
During your first visit, our team will review your medical records and get you entered into our system. We encourage new patients to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
  • What do I need to bring to my appointment?
You will need a photo ID, your insurance card(s) and a list of your current medications. Also, a list of all medications you have taken for your condition will be helpful, including over the counter medicines. Also, if you had x-rays or other scans completed for your condition anywhere other than Prisma Health Tuomey, please bring the disc(s) with your scan(s) as well. We are able access Tuomey's scans online.
  • Where exactly are you located?
We are located in Medical Office Building Two on the campus of Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Our building is freestanding, but is connected to the hospital parking garage by the bridge/walkway.
  • What are your office hours?
Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Fridays we are open from 8 a.m. until noon.
  • What do I do if I need help after hours?
If you have a true medical emergency, go directly to the nearest emergency room or call 911. For other emergent questions, our physicians have an answering service available 24/7. Simply call our office number (803-778-5970) and the on call doctor will be contacted. For routine questions, prescription refills, to schedule an appointment, etc. please call us during normal office hours. These types of calls will not be considered an emergency.
  • Who do I contact if I have a billing question?
Please contact our office at (803) 778-5970 and ask for our Billing Department.
  • Can someone else bring my child to an appointment?
Unfortunately, we are not able to see a new patient that is a child without the mother or father present. This is in order to obtain medical records, family history and complete all necessary paperwork. At your first appointment, you will be asked to complete a form listing any other adult(s) who might need to bring your child to future appointments if you are not available. For future visits, if you are on the approved list on the patient's chart you will be able to bring the patient(s) to a visit without their parent(s).
  • Do you sell or repair hearing aids?
Unfortunately, we are not a hearing aid dealer. We do, however, provide medical clearance for hearing aids and do hearing testing prior to hearing aid purchase(s).
